At the heart of this innovation is Airmatic technology, Mares’ exclusive pneumatic valve system that eliminates traditional mechanical springs for the smoothest breathing experience ever.

88X TBP First Stage

• Metal body with a Pearl Chrome finish.
• TBP Dry Kit: patented dual-piston technology, hermetically sealed for improved performance in cold-water dives.
• AST: Auto Sealing Technology keeps the first stage dry and free from dirt, ensuring reliable performance.
• Natural DFC on all low-pressure ports to ensure maximum air delivery to the second stage.
• 4 low-pressure ports on a rotating turret + 1 additional in-line fifth low-pressure port.
• OPV: Over Pressure Valve ensures uninterrupted regulator operation in the unlikely event of an intermediate pressure increase. It can be removed if an Octopus is fitted on the regulator set.
• 2 symmetrical high-pressure ports angled at 10° for perfect high-pressure hose routing.
• Hexagonal DIN handwheel: its hex shape ensures a firm grip, greater control, and prevents slipping, even when wet or wearing gloves.
