Utilizing technology originally developed for space exploration and cryogenics, HALO A°R socks feature the extremely insulating A°RGON™ aerogel material in a compression-resistant matrix.

The phenomenal insulating properties of this material allow HALO A°R socks to offer extreme thermal protection in a thinner, less buoyant fabric combination. With a wind- and water-resistant stretch outer layer, these socks can be worn comfortably all day long.

These socks are made of three layers and are therefore slightly thicker than the Hotfoot Pro. Order the socks according to your shoe size, not your drysuit boot size, as a proper fit is essential. In some cases, there may not be enough room in your drysuit boot when using the HALO A°R socks. If you are using an Argonaut drysuit, try removing the insole to create a little more space. When purchasing a drysuit, we recommend choosing boots one size larger, especially if you are usually on the larger end of a size range.
