Artek Kraken Set

The new primary focus KRAKEN is the result of converting our old model with MEGALODON umbilical into a hand focus, nevertheless increasing its power and range. Its great power (2200 lumens) and versatility make it ideal for demanding dives. Exceeds 160,000 lux at 1 meter.

Characteristics

• DESIGN PROCESS: KRAKEN is one more step in increasing light power and efficiency in our diving lights. Specially designed for underwater use, it combines aluminum, to dissipate the energy of the LED and electronics, and technical plastic to provide resistance and lightness to the battery area. It has novelties in terms of LED, optics, electronics with different powers and a larger capacity battery.
• POWER AND AUTONOMY: This model, with the new OSRAM LED, reaches a power of 2200 lumens which, combined with our reflector specially designed for the corresponding emitter, allows unparalleled luminosity and range. We managed to achieve luminosity figures of 160,000 lux at 1 meter away, something really high at maximum power.
• OPTICAL SYSTEM: The union of a quality LED, specially selected and the aluminum reflector designed by ARTEK® makes it possible to have a beam of more than 100,000 luxes at a distance of one meter.
• BATTERY: The KRAKEN spotlight has electronics with different power levels. Varying from 1% of the total power, to 30, 50 and 100%. Thus achieving versatility for all types of situations and increased autonomy in the event that full power is not necessary during the duration of use. The battery consists of 4 high capacity Panasonic lithium cells.
• SIZE - PERFORMANCE RELATIONSHIP: This model increases the power already available in models such as ORCA or MEGALODON, but avoiding the use of umbilicals and external batteries and without excessively increasing the size. Get enough autonomy at maximum power for all kinds of uses without having to include large batteries.
• QUALITY: All the components have been expressly designed so that they work in perfect harmony and obtain an unprecedented result. We always ensure the highest quality in all parts of the product, from the military specifications of the anodizing treatment of the aluminum, to the color rendering index of the LED. The OSRAM led is accompanied by a reflector with vaporized aluminum treatment so that its reflectivity is exceptional.
• MADE IN SPAIN: Like the rest of our spotlights, we design and manufacture KRAKEN in Spain. To ensure the best quality of the components and manufacturing processes, there is nothing like trusting the local industry and weaving a network of nearby suppliers.
• Includes light, battery, charger, protective case and goodmand handle.
